This Substack newsletter is created and edited by two brothers who share a love for this City, the stories & storytellers that make up this beguiling place.

Key to this is the idea of a journey, both into the history, people and future of The Cape of Good Hope, with a hope that this will evolve into a community endeavour of sharing things that interest, delight and engage.  

The idea of this Substack came about while listening to our 98 year old grandfather’s stories, and thought that there ought to be an outlet for such stories.
